“The concept of Pristine Film refers to telling stories and producing films from an open and genuine perspective.”

Julia Schellekens graduated in 2016 at the Dutch Film Academy in Amsterdam as a Filmproducer.

After her graduation she founded her production company Pristine Film and she is currently working as a freelance producer for various projects and companies.

She finished projects such as the children's series “Zara and the magical football boots” shot at 6 refugee centers, the documentary series ‘Microbe Fighters’ directed by Heddy Honigmann, the award-winning music video “Extase” by Akwasi, and various films and commercials for Vice, Eyeforce and Patagonia. 

Julia recently finished the short dance film “Anahit” (WIP) with director Laura Hermanides.

Next to her production activities, Julia works at the International Film Festival Rotterdam as part of the education team.
